When I tried on my hearing aids for the first time I was sure that the fit was perfect, but then when I got home and started moving around more I realised that they didn’t want to stay on. I’m concerned they might fall off and get stepped on, and at the very least this could become an extreme annoyance if I don’t figure out how to make these things stay on. Given that they were adjusted to fit my ears based on accurate measurements, what else can I do to keep these hearing aids firmly fitted at all times?
In the first instance you need to contact your hearing aid audiologist. Hearing aids should not fall off with normal wear. There are many things that can be done to make sure the aids are secure. The last thing you want is for them to fall out and get lost or broken.
