We recently found out that our infant has some hearing loss problems and we’re in the process of trying out the first pair of hearing aids. The problem is we’re having trouble getting them to stay on even though they were supposedly custom fitted just for his size. The fit is not really the issue, it is the fact that he won’t stay still and his rambunctious behaviour keeps knocking them loose. Do you have any tips on how to keep hearing aids on babies?
To be honest, this is a highly specialized area. The NHS provides an excellent paediatric service and I am confident that they will provide the support and guidance necessary. I assume you have obtained the hearing aids from the NHS as this should be your first port of call?
