The Phonak Naida S was launched in 2011 and is a range of super power hearing aids. These are designed for people with a more severe hearing loss who need extra power to manage their everyday hearing needs. Despite being super powered, these hearing aids are still very cosmetic and offer a choice of colours to suit your individual style. The ‘S’ stands for Spice which is Phonaks new chip technology which is twice as fast as its predecessor.

The Naida S is available in four levels of technology

Top level –         Phonak Naida S9 (S iX) Hearing Aids

Mid Level –         Phonal Naida S5 (S V) Hearing Aids

Third Level –       Phonak Naida S3 (S iii) Hearing Aids 

Basic Level -        Phonak Naida S1 Hearing Aids

Naida S hearing aids offer a wide range of features designed to enhance your listening experience. These features include:

• Ultrazoom/Stereozoom/Autozoom  -  These are all binaural microphone applications designed to enhance speech capture and noise cancellation
• Whistleblock – To give the wearer freedom from the annoying feedback that can occur.
• Soundrecover – Improves the wearers ability to hear high frequency sounds while maintaining a natural sound.
• Noiseblock – This is designed to suppress background noise leaving speech clearer.
• Soundrelax – This detects sudden loud noises and reduces gain automatically to cushion the sound
• Echoblock  - This helps to ease distortion in places that would otherwise reverberate the sound eg. Large halls, churches.
• Windblock – This manages wind noise without having to adjust microphone settings.

The NaidaS hearing aids have wireless capability. Phonak have developed a range of accessories that work along side your hearing aid to help with everyday activities such as watching TV.

• Phonak Compilot – Streamer worn around the neck
• Phonak TV Link S – Tv transmitter/compilot charger
• Phonak Mypilot – One touch display screen remote control
• Phonak PilotOne – Basic remote control

All Naida S hearing aids are Nano-coated which acts as a barrier against sweat and other moisture in the ear. It is designed to prolong the life of your hearing aid.
