Resound Nexia 5 Hearing Aids Overview
Launched in February 2024, the Resound Nexia 5 hearing aid utilises their signature Organic Hearing Approach, offering an excellent experience for all levels of hearing loss. The hearing aids boast a 150% improvement in speech understanding in noisy environments, thanks to their innovative technology.
Additionally, they offer improved support, better connectivity, and Bluetooth Auracast broadcast audio capability.

Key features of Resound Nexia 5 hearing aids include the Environmental Optimiser for automatic adjustments in different settings, DFS Ultra III to reduce feedback without compromising sound quality, and Binaural Directionality III for a more accurate representation of natural hearing.
The aids also feature Adaptive Directionality to reduce loud sounds from behind.

microRIE 60 (Rechargeable) A slim Receiver-in-Canal design with a lithium-ion all-day battery. Includes tap control and push button, streams calls from mobile phones, and connects to Resound's wireless accessories including the TV-Streamer+. Compatible with premium, standard, and desktop chargers.
RIE 61 (Size 312 Battery) A compact Receiver-in-Canal running on size 312 zinc-air batteries. Includes a push button, streams calls from mobile phones, and connects to Resound's wireless accessories including the TV-Streamer+.
RIE 62 (Size 13 Battery) The larger battery-powered RIC option, running on size 13 zinc-air batteries. Includes a multi-function button and built-in telecoil — useful if you regularly visit venues with hearing loop systems. Streams calls from mobile phones and connects to Resound's wireless accessories.
BTE / Power BTE (Rechargeable) Rechargeable Behind-the-Ear hearing aids with a lithium-ion battery, push button, and built-in telecoil. Compatible with the full range of Resound accessories and charges via a desktop charger.
ITC / ITE (Rechargeable) Rechargeable custom hearing aids with a lithium-ion battery, supplied with a dedicated custom charger.
CIC (Size 10a Battery) A completely-in-canal hearing aid running on traditional size 10a zinc-air batteries — discreet, lightweight, and virtually invisible when worn.
