To safeguard this investment and provide peace of mind, hearing aid warranty cover plays a crucial role. Hearing aids are commonly lost, misplaced, or damaged, which is unfortunate as they are probably one of the most expensive possessions you can own.

Whilst some of us can access hearing aid coverage under our household insurance - most insurance companies either don’t offer this or can charge a rather large premium to do so.

On another note, some people are concerned that they may lose their no-claims discount on their household insurance should they need to make a claim.  From financial protection and extended coverage to peace of mind and enhanced accessibility, the benefits of warranty coverage are numerous.

Hearing aid warranty is a great alternative to traditional hearing aid insurance cover and could cost you far less over the life of your hearing aid (s). 

Below is a breakdown of what our policy entails:

  • The warranty premium is payable annually in advance and is only £80 per hearing aid per year.
  • This applies to new hearing aids that are less than 12 months old.
  • The maximum period we will cover your hearing aids is for five years.
  • Your warranty covers the specific hearing aid (s) in question. 
  • In the event of you making a claim, you would pay the excess stated and then receive the replacement hearing aid usually within 10 working days.
  • The replacement aid would then require a new policy if you wanted to cover your new aid.
  • Our hearing aid warranty excess does not include costs for extras such as rechargeable. 
When calculating the premium, unlike insurance policies, we do not take risk demographics such as postcode, claims history, or hearing aid value into account.  If you were to make a hearing aid claim, then your premium does not go up. 
We would also like to reassure our customers that we do not share claims information with anyone.  If you make a claim then this will not affect any insurance policies that you may currently have.

We don't provide this service, but if you are looking for hearing aid insurance, contact your home insurance company.  Most home insurance providers add hearing aids on to their standard home content insurance plans.  However, please be aware that this often only covers for loss/damage by fire or theft.

Our hearing aid warranty cover has a low fixed premium of £80 per hearing aid, per year. This also includes all makes and models.  If your hearing aid is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair - we will replace it with a new one of exactly the same brand and model.
