In November 2015 GN ReSound brought out the Enzo2, a super power BTE version of their latest generation “made for iPhone” hearing aid, the Linx2.
The Enzo2 5 is the entry level superpower hearing aid in ReSound’s latest range. Although it has a lower specification and 9 channels rather than 17, it still has the same high power output as the more sophisticated models. By dropping some of the features that enable the user to hear well in noisy and complex environments, this has enabled Resound to bring you the same amplification but at a lower price point.
The aid has the same effective DFS Ultra II system, providing the highest stable gain level (highest amplification) in the industry, without the hearing aid whistling. This hearing aid is ideally suited to those with severe to profound losses who do not spend much time in noisy or windy environments.
The Enzo2 5 is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod and unlike the previous generation of Enzo 5 it uses the ReSound Smart app and therefore includes features such as Direct Audio Streaming, Geotag, and the feature that helps you to find a lost hearing aid. You can also use your iPhone as a remote control to adjust the hearing aid. The Enzo 5 is also compatible with the whole range of "ReSound Unite" wireless accessories.
The aid is tough and durable and it repels wax, moisture and dust using its special iSolate nanotech™ protective coating.
Super power hearing aids are never going to be as attractive as their lower power cousins. They have to be larger to fit the higher power circuitry inside. However, compared to all other super power aids on the market, the Enzo is the smallest there is.
The Enzo2 5 can be further customised by setting up additional memory programs, you can have up to four. There is also a choice of colour with ten shades available.
