The Super range of hearing aids is available in 2 levels of technology, the Super 440 (high end technology range) and Super 220 (entry level range).  The Super is a powerful hearing aid designed for people with a moderate to severe hearing loss.

The Super range was launched by Widex in November 2011 and comes as a receiver in the ear instrument with the choice of 2 different receivers dependent on the hearing loss

The Super 440 has the advantage of 15 channels and 5 programmes and is a high end technology level hearing aid.  The Super 220 has 5 channels and 3 programs.

The Widex Audibility Extender is an impressive feature of the Super range.   The Audibility Extender takes sounds that the user is unable to hear and reproduces them to where the wearer has some hearing.

Super incorporates the newest InterEar features which give improved localisation and language comprehension.  This is a distinct advantage when in social situations, meetings or outdoor situations.  The IE Speech Enhancer even focuses on the dominant speaker

Tinnitus can be a distressing problem for many.  The Super range has available a feature called Zen.  Zen uses sounds and tunes to help the wearer control their tinnitus symptoms.

Widex has incorporated into the Super 440 a verbal messaging system called SmartSpeak.  With SmartSpeak the user will hear a recorded voice talking you through functions of the hearing aid eg low battery alert or program mode

The Super family uses the power of a traditional behind-the-ear hearing aid in a much smaller housing.  This gives comfort and style whilst still maintaining quality of sound.

The microphone on the Super range is protected from moisture and wind noise with the new microphone cover enabling users to wear their hearing aids whatever the weather.

Assisted listening devices are also available to assist when listening to the television, music or telephone.  These devices beam the sounds direct from the TV etc to the hearing aid therefore helping to cut out other background noise.

For the fashion conscious, the Super range is available in 6 colours.  The Super uses size 675 batteries giving a long battery life.
