Widex Beyond 330 Hearing Aids

|  2021 Update:  This hearing aid has now been discontinued.

|  Update:  This hearing aid has been superseded by the Widex Evoke range.

The Widex Beyond 330 is part of Widex’s most recently released range of hearing aids. The Widex Beyond 440 is the most sophisticated of the range (read the full Widex Beyond 440 product description here), however, the 330 offers a more affordable option if you are looking to buy within the Widex range.

The real plus point with the Widex Beyond range is that they are specifically ‘Made for iPhone’ hearing aids that can be fully and intuitively operated via the Widex Beyond app. Not only does the app give you full control of your hearing aids straight from your smartphone, but 2.4GHZ Bluetooth connectivity allows direct audio streaming and T-coil connectivity. All of the hearing aids in the Widex Beyond range integrates with the app, so for full details and key features of the app please refer to the Widex Beyond 440 product page.

Key Differences Between the Widex Beyond 330 and the 440

Many of the features, such as the app compatibility, are carried across between the 330 and 440 models. However, with the decrease in price between the two models does inevitably come a decrease in some aspects of the technical specification. These include:

  • Decreased processing channels – the Widex Beyond 330 only has 10 channels, compared to the 440’s 15 processing channels.
  • Lack of wind noise attenuation – this is only available on the 440 models.
  • Decreased programs – the 330 only has 4 programs for different sound situations, compared to the 440’s 5 programs.
  • Lack of High-Frequency Boost – the 330 does not have the ability to boost certain high-frequency sounds that can be difficult for some users to hear.

Depending on your lifestyle and specific hearing loss you may find that the Widex 330 offers a more affordable ‘Made for iPhone’ hearing aid option. However for more information between the available Widex Beyond hearing aid models please contact our advisers.
