Introduction

The Phonak Audeo Life Lumity L30 hearing aids, launched in August 2022, stand as Phonak's second-generation rechargeable waterproof hearing aid. Featuring AutoSense OS 5.0 technology, these devices aim to enhance speech clarity and directionality, particularly in challenging auditory environments.

Performance and Features

Although lacking a telecoil, the Phonak Audeo Life Lumity L30 hearing aids boast a push button and are waterproof up to 1.5m, capable of enduring submersion for up to 30 minutes. Additionally, they are sweatproof and incorporate health data tracking features, making them suitable for individuals with active lifestyles.

Advanced Technologies for Enhanced Hearing

StereoZoom 2.0 technology dynamically adjusts focus levels in response to varying background noise, promising around 2.5 dB better signal-to-noise ratio. The SpeechSensor algorithm detects the direction of the primary speech signal, offering a claimed 15% improvement in understanding speech from the rear and sides, alongside an 11% reduction in listening effort. Motion Sensors and 360-degree listening contribute to improved clarity and automation in various listening environments. 

Connectivity and Accessories

Compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones, these hearing aids offer universal connectivity and can pair with multiple Bluetooth-enabled devices. Accessory options include PartnerMic, Remote Control, TV Connector, RogerDirect, and the myPhonak App, enhancing usability and functionality.

Personalisation

The myPhonak app introduces health-tracking features such as step, activity, distance, and wearing time monitoring. Additionally, the Remote Care app feature allows for a tailored listening experience and telehealth services. The Remote Virtual Appointment feature facilitates on-the-go adjustments with audiologists via Telehealthcare, ensuring convenience and customisation.

Available in eight colour options, including Sand Beige, Chestnut, and Velvet Black, the Phonak Audeo Life Lumity L30 hearing aids offer both functionality and aesthetic appeal, catering to individual preferences and styles.

When comparing with the Phonak Audeo Life Lumity L90 hearing aids, the L30 model lacks several features:
