I wore the same hearing aids for 3 years until I recently bought a new and improved model. I’m so happy with my new pair that I don’t think I’ll ever need the old ones again. Instead of having them sit around and collect dust in my attic I’d like to be able to pass them onto someone else who could use an affordable set. Can I sell used hearing aids?
My advice to you would be to keep them as a back-up to your new hearing aids. Over the next few years there is a good chance that your new hearing aids will need some service or repair. It is a great thing to be able to have the flexibility to never be without hearing aids. I also cringe at the thought of someone else wearing hearing aids they have bought second-hand that don’t match their hearing loss or their ear size and shape.
